IDAHO COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN’S CLUB
Regular Monthly Meeting: Monday,DECEMBER 9, 2024
The meeting was called to order by President Cherylyn Kerley at 12:10 pm at the Trails Restaurant.
Cindy Carlson gave a prayer.
Mary Mangold led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Patricia Menough motioned for the November 2024 meeting minutes to be approved. Rachel Beeson seconded. Moton Passed
Cherylyn Kerley presented the Treasurer’s report. Cindy Carlson motioned to approve the report. Andrea Soltman seconded. Motion passed.
Senator Cindy Carlson gave a report on the 2025 Idaho State Senate situation. Cindy is on the Education Committee and on the JFAC committee. She encouraged all of us to stay involved. There is much to be done. She recommended the following organizations: Idaho Freedom Foundation, Idaho Dispatch (Greg Pruett), Brian Almon, DFM.Idaho.gov ( shows revenue totals for state), and also to follow on X. Please stay in touch with Senator Carlson with information or to ask questions. Please pray for her.
President Cherylyn Kerley read a Thank You from Hannah Schwartz (one of the winners of the Essay Contest).
Chairman Vince Rundhaug from Idaho County Central Committee reported that the State Meeting for Central Committees is January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2025. That is where they will present new rules and resolutions to pass or not for the State Republican Party.
Dues are due. Cami Strasser paid $40.00 cash. Patricia Menough paid $40.00 cash. Vince Rundhaug paid $20.00 cash. This is in the notes to verify cash was given.
Cami Strasser motioned that we remain a part of the State of Idaho Women’s Club organization. Andrea Solberg seconded and motion passed.
New officers were elected for 2025 and 2026. Thank you for these women who have taken this responsibility.

Sue Kinner presented a petition to give to the school district that supports getting Hillsdale’s 1776 K-12 curriculum into the district. We are also looking for like-minded people to help us hold the schools accountable to a less progressive education of our children. Please contact Sue if you have any questions or would like to be involved.
Next meeting is Monday, January 13th, 2025 at the Trail’s Restaurant.
