To wrap up our calendar year, the Idaho County Republican Central Committee [ ICRCC ] reflects on a year filled with dedication, accomplishments, and unwavering commitment to our shared values.
As we gather at Christmastime, we will all celebrate the blessings of our families, friends and communities across Idaho County.
And to underscore hard earned milestones achieved by ICRCC, we’d like to share a special holiday message accompanied by a group portrait of your Idaho County Republican Central Committee — a symbol of unity and purpose that drives our efforts.
Showcasing Our Accomplishments
2024 has been a remarkable year for our Republican committee. Together, we achieved significant milestones that strengthened our community and advanced our mission:
- Educational Initiatives: We allocated funds to support education efforts related to Proposition One, a Socialist Marxist agenda item that Republicans successfully defeated in Idaho County and across the State of Idaho. This broad defeat underlined the fact that our communities were well-informed on critical issues related to Ranked Choice Voting (Prop 1) that, if it had passed on the November 5th election ballot, would have had major impact on our lives and values.
- Supporting Grassroots Efforts: By providing lunches for our dedicated canvassers, we helped fuel their tireless work in spreading awareness and engaging door-to-door with our neighbors and constituents.
- Fundraising Success: Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, including our success with the Half Angus Beef Raffle Drawing, we bolstered our resources to continue having the much needed funds, making a difference in our communities. A winning ticket was drawn on Tuesday December 17th by Sheriff Doug Ulmer and we have a winner! Name is withheld in lieu of privacy. We thank our Precinct Committee person who donated the Half Angus Beef in order that we might raise funds for important initiatives. ICRCC is GRATEFUL for the opportunity the Half Angus Beef afforded us to raise funds to continue our efforts.
- Lincoln Days: Our annual event is in the planning stages and will bring together community members in celebration of our shared principles, showcasing the strength and vibrancy of our local Republican efforts. [ More details provided below ].
- Promotional efforts require funds to purchase signs, advertising, banners, Idaho County Fair presence, parade decorations and swag to throw out to the audience, etc.
- Website at https://idaho.idgop.org: Idaho County Republicans now have a website for the first time in the history of ICRCC. Idaho GOP’s provide the website hosting and our Publicity Chair updates the website with articles like this one, posts minutes of the ICRCC and the ICRWC (Republican Women’s Club), a list of leadership contact information for your precinct committee person and a central repository of information about important issues. We also maintain a Facebook Page for news, communication of articles by State GOP leadership, fundraisers and information to disseminate quickly.
These achievements and more, reflect the hard work and commitment of every individual involved, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together.
Looking Ahead: Lincoln Day Dinner 2025
As we turn the page to a new year, we’re thrilled to announce our next major event—our Lincoln Day Dinner and Fundraiser. Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Grangeville Elks Club on South Meadow Street in Grangeville Idaho.. Tickets are now on sale, and we invite everyone to join us for an evening of fellowship, inspiration, and support for the Idaho County Central Republican Committee goals in the year ahead. Attorney General Raul Labrador is scheduled as the Keynote speaker. A live and silent auction is also part of the event where you’ll be able to bid on or win in raffles some cool and premium gifts, including several firearms.

Tickets AND Tables can also be purchased through Precinct Committee people as well as by stopping in at Walkers Jewelry on Main Street next to Irwin Drug. .

Proceeds from the event will help us continue vital initiatives like community education, outreach, and supporting Republican candidates who stand for the principles we hold dear.
