Patricia reported there is a school board meeting tonight. Executive session and public session.

Vince reported on the school budget numbers he has and it seems they have a surplus. He also said that 14 new Precinct Committee persons were at the last ICRCC meeting. The next ICRCC meeting is July 16 at 6pm at the Super 8 meeting room. Mary Mangold is a web designer and is designing a web page for the ICRCC and their new publicity and PR person.

Heather Moore reported the Idaho Rebublican Federation of Women has a state meeting every 2 years.  This year it is in Caldwell  Sept. 13th and 14th. Our committee has 2 votes and we need at least 2 people to go.  Heather said we are welcome to stay in the NezPerce County women’s Air B&B.

We discussed when would be a good time for the Pacific Justice Institute to speak to our group and think it is something to put in a public place, maybe the September Community + meeting September 8.  Cherylyn will check with all involved. Cami made a motion to have PJI speak September 8, Cris 2nd, passed.

Heather Moore explained how the NezPerce County Women work with their Central Committee. She as Pres. reports to the Central Committee and can have a vote if the Central Committee appoves, but they can also disapprove her vote. Vince said this was talked about at ICRCC but was tabled. He asked her for their by-laws on this topic.

Several women attended a planning meeting for us going forward and came up with 5 Goals for our club.  They are 1. Service to Community Events, 2. Promote US Founding Documents, 3. Promote Traditional Family Values, 4. Promote Republican Platform Issues, 5. Support Idaho County Republican Central Committee.  Sue made motion to pass the goals, Pat 2nd, passed.

Next meeting Cristy will bring a basket and each member will bring something that starts with an A for August to put in the basket.  We will buy raffle tickets for a dollar and draw for the basket.  The basket will be returned the following month and repeat.

Discussed how we can combat Ranked Choice Voting.  It will be on the ballot this November.  At next ICRCC meeting Roy Farmer and Jim Chmelik will report.

Patricia will reserve a booth at the fair and we need volunteers to man it.

Next meeting is Aug. 12 at Trails. Pat motion to adjourn, Cris 2nd.  See you all in August!!

Respectfully, Lu Crea, Sec.
